A LONG time ago, before I joined the Navy, I went to Carlisle, that show is mainly Corvettes IIRC.
I've never been to Hershey for a car show. You missed the All Breeds Jeep Show in York, they do one every year, this year it was in July. I think it's usually in July.
Same here -- never been to either Carlisle or Hershey shows, but I've been to the All Breeds PA show. There's lots and lots of things to keep you busy/drooling all day long. There's a swap meet, an o-course, etc...but like Elwood said, it's already past.
If it were me, I'd go to either one/both of the shows, especially if you're planning on entering. CJ's sure do have a way of attracting attention.

Are you asking about the shows or the swap meets? I have not been to either but if your driving distance from them you might want to check out the Englishtown Raceway swap meet in the spring. I have been going to that one spring and fall for many years and just went last Friday. My friend and I both commented on the fact that this year we saw the most Jeep stuff ever in all the years we have been going. Of course it was because we were not looking for anything in particular. We always go even if its just to look at junk. Never know what you might find.
I've been to the Carlisle show years and years ago but I think it's expanded beyond the muscle cars show that it predominantly was. The local guy who runs an off-road shop went down and had a booth this year so I believe theres some 4wd stuff there but can't say how much.
Second thought, this may be a different show than the famed swap meet. I just looked for a pic on his facebook page because I knew he won some award, and it says Carlisle Truck and Jeep Nationals, in August. So it may be a separate show.
