I'm always on the look out for cheap (quality) parts.
So I started a thread for other cheap arse tips.
Feel free to add some if you got one.

I was eyeing my wifes '06 Rubicon Unlimited and I
noticed the stock Fog lights are Hella's.....hmmmm.
People are always pulling off stock parts.....

So I pulled up the local craigslist and ebay and did a quick search
and sure enough people are basically giving them away and some are.

So if your interested in some cheap (quality) Fog Lights look for some
stockers pulled from a wrangler. The mount attaches on the bottom
and has an adjustment screw to tilt it up and down. They come with a
pre-wired pig tail that people just disconnect from the stock harness.
Cut the connector off the pig tail and wire it in to your CJ. Boom
cheap/free Hella fog lights.

Great thread. Rather than pay big time for a locking glovebox on-line. I went to Lowe's and picked out a cam lock for like $6.00. It works like a champ (had to clear a little plastic from the inside) and I'm able to sell the original for $10.00 or so. Now, the glovebox can still be removed by unscrewing the 2 screws underneath...but replace those with one-way security screws and you're all set. It'll only keep honest people out - but the easy opportunity is gone.
