Chrysler owning Jeep
Off topic. (I know I know) As a vet this always burned my :censored: .Beretta of Italy builds our standard side arm the M9 and FN of Belgium build our medium machine gun the M240.

Sorry I am venting....

There is some correlation between the two. I know the Military requires that the item be buildable in the US, as in Beretta had to build a factory here in the US to produce pistols but I always have to ask where do the profits go? Well I can tell you where they don’t go and that’s not here in the US; our hard earned taxpayer dollars fly overseas like a hot rock. Think of the bright boy at the Air Force who gave the tanker project to the French Airbus and not Boeing. As Forest Gump said, “Stupid is stupid does.” Fortunately public outcry to the tanker deal was great enough to squelch that lunacy but I’m sure we had to pay Airbus something to cancel the contract.

That is exactly how I feel. I know factories are here so we can nationalize them in time of need but its the profits. Also being in manufacturing and seeing it all go overseas I feel like the government is leading the way.

I could go on and on like I'm sure many of us could.

Sorry to hijack this thread. I know....no politics. I'm finished.
