Build Thread CJ 5 Build for RSQ
Havent been on in some time as I buried myself in the work related to getting this thing built. I now have a mostly finished product (kinda finished). What I have added-

  • Winch
  • tire/ fuel can carrier
  • cage
  • twin stick conversion to Dana 20
  • Custom tube flat fenders with enclosed compartments and custom wheel wells
  • 3" tube fender flares
  • tube doors that extend out 3" to make room for medical kits strapped to the inside the doors
  • radio for communication
  • autometer guages
  • hand throttle with Hurst shifter T-Handle
  • 4 barrel Edelbrock Thunder offroad carb
  • Dual Battery (second battery stashed inside the firewall behind dash. still in progress)
  • On board Air (under driver seat)
  • Rigid LED lighting. 20" bar, 2 D2 floods and 2 Dually Diffused in the rear (building mounts)
  • Simpson 5 point harnesses
  • Custom seats (still waiting after 3 mos)

As soon as I have all the mounts built for the rest of the lights I will plaster this place with Pics.....The guys at Rigid have been awesome to deal with! Thanks Max and all the folks at Rigid for the support.

Thanks for the compliments the fenders were quite the project.

Update. CJ5 is done and has been out in the field on several calls. I am attaching some pics of it in use.
