CJ-7 Tailgate Issue

Like many, the rear of my CJ where the tailgate hinges bolt on is rotted and needs replaced. I cannot for the life of me find THAT part. I can find bed pans, tailgates, hinges, corners, crossmembers...everything but that panel that the hinges bolt to...

How am I not able to find this or am I looking for the wrong part?

Well thank you! I can't imagine as bad as this piece rusts on as many Jeeps as it does that you can't find these everywhere they sell body parts. Amazing...

Yep, that's the only place I've ever come across them either. Depending on how bad that area is, I had a C-channel made out of sheetmetal (either 18 or 20, don't recall) and it slipped right over what was there. That was 15 years ago and it's still holding up. The ends though where the body mounts are, are totally gone. I'm fabbing new ones for there.
