CJ under seat storage box

I've read every line on this site and haven't found one yet about getting the box out. I know they are spot welded and I have never tried to remove welds. The reason I'm pulling it is to replace the floor pan under it, and it would seem much easier to do with out the box in the way!

you have to drill the spot welds out, they sell spot weld cutting bits which will help

The only way is to cut it out (spot welds). I had the same issue years ago. I really like the storage. Cables chains straps etc

I like it so much I have in my aluminum tub now.

With the seats I had (and will have again) I removed my tool box permanently...I could not access it anyways and it created a place for rust to develop due to insufficient sealing.
