I need a new front seat and am not picky on the manufacturer (Bestop, Rugged Ridge, etc..) I having a hard time picturing how a CJ5 "reclines". Does anyone have any experience in the non-recline standard vs the recline?
almost impossible to have a reclining CJ5 seat, for reclining back purposes, but I guess it could be useful for reclining forward to access back area. I would just install(custom bottom mounts) and use CJ7, YJ or early TJ style. And when I do a custom build, I look for the most comfortable leather seats from any manufacture, I have a real nice set of black leather seats from a 06 Dodge Charger I plan on using for my 83 CJ7 project, even driver side will be power.

I am of the opinion that putting seats in a CJ of any other variety than what it came with is a major big PITA. Seats from another vehicle most likely will need some sort of re engineered mount and will more than likely take up more of the room that was meant for you than is comfortable. They...
