I'm new to the site - hope to get and share information regarding a 1979 CJ5 .

Trying to get it started and have no electrical power at all. Installed a new battery, new pos/neg cable and a new starter solenoid. I have no power at all - no lights, no voltage at the voltmeter - nothing. Not sure what I am missing. Is there a breaker or fuse I need to check? Any suggestions??

Jackknife,
I would start at the fusible link #120 Red 14 gauge splice #K, at the solenoid. Sending color coded wiring diagram. If that's it, cut out and replace with new link & ring connector, shrink wrap & solder. If still good follow wire to bulkhead connector, remove (by removing center bolt) & clean #12A to #12C.
