That and a cross brace will keep the gear in place with the bigger tires.

Cross brace can be purchased? after market application? Or needs to be fabbed?

edit: Came up with this on a search:

Exactly. Not my jeep but you get the idea. I got a used Big Daddy mount and bought a MORE box brace. Everything works well and feels solid. All bolt on aftermarket stuff. You will see the difference when you take off the old mount. Its 2 pieces of thin stamped metal. And the brace goes from the box to the other side of the frame for that additional support.

Also the Steering column rod rubs the lower radiator hose.

**"You can get a reamer kit which entails reaming the holes from the top, installing the bushings, and tightening everything up."**

This method requires a straight reamer and a bushing with a tapered hole already drilled for the tie rod? and no welding the bushing in?

**"With the 3/4" straight bushing method, you go all the way through and insert and weld the bushings"**

What tolerance range between bushing OD and 3/4 drilled hole ID ?
The kit that I got required little more than a tap with a small hammer, and it slid right in.

Yes-OEM :notworthy:
The hose rub was a common issue.
