CJ7 swing away spare tire carrier

I just got a 1986 CJ7 . When I bought it it had a swing away spare tire carrier but it seems to be missing a piece. It looks like a Trailer hitch receiver but theres no part that goes inside the receiver that i can hook the tire up too. ANy thoughts on where I could get this part?I CAnt find it online. Thanks.

Your right there is a piece missing.
You might see if any of the bumper makers will sell you one.

that is a common way to mount the spare tire on a carrier, you have the ability to move it in or out according to the size of the tire, what is missing is the actual tire mount that slides into the carrier, you could fab one in a afternoon, get the tubing for the reciever, drill it for pin holes to hold it in, weld a piece of 1/4 in plate cut into a circle on it and drill 3 holes for lugs in a pattern to fit the tire. Send to powder coater or paint.
