CJ7 Windshield Hinge Mounting

- 82' CJ7 ,258 w/ Weber, T5, D300, dana 30-amc20 w/ Detroit locker & 4.88's, 4.5" lift, 1" body lift. 35" Toyo MT
OK, I have had my 82 CJ7 basically tore apart for about two years as I fix it up and I'm having a case of C.R.S.
The question is about the windshield frame hinges where it bolts to the tub, Is there a backing plate that sits on the inside or does the countersunk bolts just have serrated flange nuts on the other side?
I know on the frame there are is a captive nut plate but I cant shake the feeling that there was some sort of doubler or backing plate on the inside.
