Hi, Everyone!

Long time, first time. Bought a 1977 CJ7 , AMC 304 V8,Auto, beast. Brought her to Big Island! Still newbie with her and Island.
Stopped cranking/ starting a while ago - so I started with the basics - new battery? Not it
New solenoid? Not it (changed it twice, started a few days then stopped)
New Starter? Again, started a few times, then stopped turning over
I'm being pointed to the Ignition Switch by all the armchair mechanics in the family.
The good ol screwdrivers to the solenoid gets her started with the keys in the On position. Sparks then she starts right up!
Turn the ignition with key, nothing. Lights go on, battery shows voltage. But nothing else happens. No sounds of anything Trying to start
but the solenoid cross starts her up every time
So, I've been told to "Just throw a Kill Switch in it and call it"
But I'd like to get things done right if at all possible, then Better (I do need a Kill Switch of some sort - she gets Eyeballs around here)
Any one can point me in the right direction, please?

Check for 12v at the ignition switch (red wire)
With key on, check for 12v going out the ignition switch (blue wire).
Post results.

There should be battery voltage on the light blue wire at the starter relay when the ignition switch is in the start position. This is what activates the relay. if not then you have to backtrack to the ignition switch.
