Classic Cars
Great pics Dave! Behind the Fairlane is a 48-50 Ford F1, first truck I owed. My dad and I built it from the ground up. Sadly i had to sell it to pay closing costs on a house years ago...

Nice pics Dave thanks for sharing. Did you take any more pics of the green 68 Charger? Looks like my old Charger that I often wonder what happened to after I sold it.

:)Those were real cars, ones that all have different style and noway resemble the polished turds they build today.

The year, model and maker could be recognized from a long way away.
I grew up in the 50s and 60s and got to see it all. And some of that big iron was damned quick too. I sure wish I had back some of those old Chevys, Buicks, Desoto, Even had a Frasier and a Hudson once and of course my 57 Willys wagon.
Those were indeed the days. .....Sigh!:)

No that's the only picture I took of that car. I love the '68 and '69 Chargers.

Selling that car was one of the dumbest things I have done :(
Have been on the verge of that myself lately. Sure would miss Trixie...

I always like looking at classic cars. Yesterday I went to a car show and took some pictures. If you guys have any pictures of classic cars you can also post them here.

I'm thinking about doing something like this for the back of my Jeep.

I'm a big fan of classic cars, especially muscle, but as I get older I really start to appreciate all of the various styles (especially wagons as of late).

Here's my one of my money pits:20160526_150351_zpsxpz6usyt.webp

And his older cousin (who needs a little work done!):

If Busa Dave sees this thread, I gotta a quick question for you. Were you ever a member of SBN?

Went to Mark's Classic Cruise Night in East Granby CT on Monday. 650+ cars. I went to Mohegan Sun for Barrett Jackson. It was awesome. I'd like to go there with about 15-20k. That would have probably bought about 200 cars. There were some crazy deals. The problem is that I like almost everything. Narrowing down just one car would be nearly impossible. CJs were getting CRAZY money. My GF is into cars too. Has a '68 Falcon with a 302 V8.

Dave, I don't know if its my PC, but I can't see any of your pictures.

If you are using Internet Explorer click the gear in the upper right and select "Internet Options". (another way to get to Internet Options is to press the "ALT" button and select Tools at the top)

In Internet Options press the "Security" tab and press the "Custom Level ..." button.
Scroll just over half way down. For "Display mixed content'" select "Enabled"

The annual car show here in Durango was a couple of weeks ago. Here's some pictures of those cars.
