I found a few pictures of this clean and understated CJ5 on the the net the other day. Man I love just looking at a sweet and clean restoration of a Jeep. It is very stock looking but has just enough. I could drive this Jeep every day and smile.

Then of course I am in love with this flattie also. I took this picture at a New England Jeep only show two years ago.

Of course my thread wouldn't be complete without me whoring my own Jeep pictures. After 15 years of basically looking exactly the same I am definitely ready for a change on my baby. I cannot wait to get my garage done so I can tear her apart again for a revamp.

Baja, Mine is so clean my wife is mad at me! Bought this Jeep to tow behind our camper and use to explore/ fish/ etc. with but decided to "restore" first and the rest is history.

What's the detuned mean on your description Sascuach? Did you pull a leaf or two to soften the ride?

So, how long do you polish after a mud fest?

Polish? No way. I just like clean builds. My jeep only takes 30 minutes to fully clean.

I bought my Jeep with a PO installed Rubicon Express 4.5 and was not after that much lift personally so I determined the min. length my shackles had to be to go flat and that was 3" so I made some at 3.5" to replace the 5" that are part of the lift then I removed the bottom leaf on the rear.
I'm guessing it's around a 3" lift know but not sure.
