What he said... I started to post the following and got a little :wasted::wasted::wasted::wasted: at bowling...
Im not positive the particulars for your year / componants.. But this is how i did mine... But up front i should tell you u really should get a book or look up torque specs at the least for your particular vehicle...
I bought clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bushing, and alighnment tool, all before doing anything so to minimize downtime.. I would suggest changing the pilot bushing and all above since you're in there... Pulling the tranny is a
so i wanted to be done...
Disconnect:
Driveshafts ( front and rear) speedo cable and any other wiring... Its a whole lot easier to take the inspection plate ( floorboard) off too at or before this point...
Then get the bellhousing and crossmember bolts broke loose ( dont take out yet...) get a jack under backside of transfer cast.
Take xmember bolts out... ( im sorry i just got done at leage bowling and had 2 pitchers of beer... So needless to say im no longer able to give accurate directions... Ill post the rest tomorrow am if you r still interested.).
