well, ive been driving around my 75 CJ5 , which will hopefully get to the point where it will be my daily driver, but thats another topic, but the PO obvioulsy built it to look nice, not to drive daily.

I was driving around and the clutch hits the floor and doesnt move. After I limp it home and take a look, the clutch linkage fell out, so i put it back in and the pocket arm coming out of the tranny is froze up. It will not move. Before i tear it open and take a look (later next week), what do you think? Itll still shift thru the gears, so is it the clutch pack? maybe some new friction plates?

I think the problem is the clutch fork. The linkage came off and I think maybe the fork came off the pivot. I will bet the clutch will still work properly if the fork presses on the clutch properly. The fork pivots on a ball (part #17). Is the ball still in place?

X2......I'm with Busa, the linkage is probably the problem.
