Hi All,
just ordered a new (rebuilt) clutch slave cylinder for my Jeep. It's a 1983 CJ7 w/ GM 151 . My parts guy ordered the wrong one, even though the part #'s said it was for my GM 151 engine. The mounting holes on mine are off to the side, where the one in most catalogs have the bore in the middle of both mounting holes. At least 4WD catalog has the right one pictured Part# croj3241867.
Anyway my question is, has anybody order a rebuild kit lately? From who?
Is the bore size, and pushrod the same as the older Wrangler's slaves?
The guy at 4WD says they sell a kit (by Crown) but he has no specs. Even the Crown site says "1982". That's it!
Rockauto website says they have one, but again no specs. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
