Console Options

A bit of trivia, and probably well known by this group, the original center console was meant to double as an ice chest and has a drain hole that goes through the floor. Never used mine for that function but it is a cool concept.

My console is a 20mm ammo can. First mod I did. Needed a place to keep stuff. I like this idea about a cooler in the console, as a cooler would take up a lot of room in a little CJ5 . I did something like it this Sunday when I went wheeling with some buddies. ,but I lined it with cut styrofoam and it kept my drinks cool all day.
