Now I did some research.
And when I cannot get a right knuckle for my Dana 30 i might upgrade it and get Knuckles from a chevy k10.
I checked for narrow track Dana 30 but then I have to replace also everything brakes hubs etc.
And so I came up with this:... my plan B
... have it one my CJ7 . And its exactly as you discribe. This is what i used. AlloyUSA inner Dana 30 chromoly shafts with 297 u-joint. Ford bronco outer stock 44 shafts. Chevy flatop knuckles. Dana 30 /44 balljoints. Bronco rotors. Wagoneer calipers, caliper brackets, hubs, lockouts.

this is quite a project butat least it is an improvement also.
Just getting a Dana 44 is more expensive and I can not use any of my parts lick the locker.
What do you think. Too much??
