Dana 30 U-Joints (OEM vs. Spicer)

Dana 30 U-Joints (OEM vs. Spicer)
I ended up ordering everything from this place:

https://sites.google.com/site/crownautooutlet/

Turns out they are the distributor for most parts for all the Jeep places in the state and around here. Will beat or match any online price, which they did. Very good to do business with but I think they only work with people in MA individually. They are mainly a bulk distributor apparently.

Sorry to hear that. They are the place you were avoiding in the first place. When it comes to common Jeep parts, Crown and Omix-ada are two places to try and avoid unless no other source is available. These won't be quality Timken stuff.

crownauto  you just bought China :dung:

He sold me Timken stuff. It isn't crown. Used the same part numbers. Trust me, I made sure. Although the spindle bearing kit had spicer and timken stuff. I think the Crown thing is just the name they are under. I told him I wasn't going to call unless it was spicer or Timken, haha.

Well if you can verify they are Timken brand bearings AND seals then you should be okay. Typically Crown stuff is junk. Look around the rim of the bearing and it will be stamped Timken and the bearings will have a number something like LM102949.
Good luck.
