I still remember 1 evening it started raining, and 6 hours later we had 18 inches of rain. And it wasn’t 3 inches an hour either. 1st hour was probably 1 1/2 inches. The next 4 hours it just kept raining harder and harder each hour. Finally around 5 hours it started slacking off.

Yep, Your in LA not the city but the state. if I remember correctly. (I'm probably wrong) Mucho rain and other stuff (hurricanes and tornadoes.

Another record setting heat day. The daily afternoon monsoon rain dropped the temperature a bit though.

Yet it was only in the 70s for me yesterday and low humidity. In fact after the sun went down it was chilly in the Jeep with no windshield doors or top for the ride home

Lol... And just a few hours later after the daily deluge it jumps to 99%. Just a typical day.

Here we've been needing scuba gear to breathe outside with the high humidity levels; but the temps haven't been so bad with all the clouds and rain. Now back to the boat for that wet drive to work.

We are getting the brunt of that rain over here now. Storm is in Texas and the rain is in Louisiana.
