So I now understand the basics of the fuel system. However, as I was buttoning everything back up today I noticed exactly how much stuff is disconnected. I'm not sure if I have a Weber or Carter? Didn't see any identification anywhere. I did notice hoses that have been plugged. I wish to remove any extra wiring and whatever else. I would like to install aftermarket air cleaner assembly but have read that the stock setup is actually the way to go. Even if I did I have no clue on what to do with all the hoses, etc. I am posting a pic I took today because I wondered if y'all could help. What is the electrical plug for and how can I get rid of some of this stuff if I don't need it. Thanks to all of you in advance!

The plug does fit into the back of carb.... See white block to the left of my hand. I haven't tried plugging it in and running jeep because it seems to run fine without it? Thanks a ton y'all.

1.carter bbd elec feedback 2 bbl. 2. Plug it in. 3. Try to find a better carb. Even a bbd off of an earlier jeep (non feedback) would be better, carter 2100 always a nice swap or a webber if you've got the cash.

I believe he meant Motorcraft MC2100. :D

They are a good swap. Pay attention to the CFM rating and Jet Sizes.

You want the 1.08 stamped on the outside of the carb.

Yeah what he said. Sorry bout that. imagine the mess carter would make out of it!

I will look into carb options.. Thought about going fuel injected but haven't found the parts for free yet... Hahaha, have seriously wanted to do the "Team Rush" upgrade. I just tend to wait until it breaks to fix it... Just got my Graco PP7 sprayer in today so I will be staining our cabin and then the double gate and then...... Thanks guys! For all your help!
