i have been really looking at whole car dipping lately and am amazed at the colors and appearances that can be achieved with dip (Plastidip). Take a look at the link below to a view of over 600 cars that were dipped. Some are blah but many are firetrucking amazing. It is a consideration of mine since my Scrambler paint even though it looks good in pictures, has alot wrong with it and still need more fixing. Not saying I am going to dip the Jeep but from research I can say this is pretty damn cool option for the home mechanic type guy. You an but a whole spray kit with 3 gallons of dip for just a tad over $300. Then you can add pearls, chameleon colors, metalizers, clears, you name it.
