It will tear and peal other than that it does look cool, kind of a bright/flat color. And when you get tired of it or are running from the law you can just peal it off.

wow. I figured this would get at least some interest with people that want a cheep color job since many use spray cans.

It look pretty good for sure. I think it beats spray canning it and when you do want a good paint job it is much easier to remove.

I did do it myself, got a kit (sprayer, dip, base cleaner) from dipyourcar.com. then preped the jeep like a real paint job. Fixed some rust issues, took off fender flares, tail light ect. Stuff I didn't want blue. Washed it real real good. Then let it dry a few days. Masked it then followed the dip instructions. The nice thing is you don't have to sand the paint. Just clean it

It's actually a very interesting option for trail vehicles. Not as durable? Who cares. Peel and dip again when it gets too bad. That said, I'll be painting mine if for no other reason than I put too much into it to shortcut the paint. But I do think the idea of dipping until one is ready to do the real bodywork and paint may have merit. The downside I can imagine is getting ALL of that stuff off before bodywork and paint. Old paint is a decent base for new paint. This would not be a good base for anything.

The point behind this product is it is rubber and peals off like a sheet. No mess no residue.
