Was curious about this, is there a nuetral positon in these transfer cases? I was planning on towing it back to Iowa when it's done, and I finish my work in PA. Was gonna clamp on a tow bar and roll...

quadra-trac transfer cases do not have neutral in them only the Transmission , best thing, remove driveshafts before transport.

All I have to say is yeah, even if nothing worked it would almost be worth that in scrap metal at prices nowday. May have over stated that. But I think $3000 dollars streched over time and you could have a good running jeep. Good find!!!

Well that's exactly how I feel about this project, and my goal is to have a really nice, driveable Jeep in 8-12 weeks. I've started a thread in the build section if you'd like to follow. And Thanks for the encouragement!!
