Well as I sit here in the dark.....yes ... Sandy came through ripped us up good. I was able to us a small inverter to get some power.....anyways my dilemma is this. I put on a Cloyes 93127 double roller timing chain on my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . I lined up the marks taking it off ad putting the new one on. The marks line up at 1 o'clock and 3 o'clock. But I can't get the 15 pins thing. I get like 19 or so. I did notice that the new chain has links that are shorter in length.
Any one got some advice for some one sitting in the dark on this?

After Katrina ripped through the Gulf Coast, we were prohibited from returning home for 10 days. A road trip and visits to relatives (BEFORE the funerals) was pretty nice, compared to no power, no water, no travel except by foot.

Next time (a regular thing here) I'm going to spend the time detailing my Jeep, getting every crevice clean. Wish the best for you; every electric company I know has sent their personnel and rolling equipment.

It wasn't "life as before" here, won't be for you, but the "new normal" after the storm is replete with challenges and opportunities. Just think: junkyards full to overflowing with part donor water-damaged vehicles for your Jeep.
