Planning on setting up some type of DRL .

Question is, what wattage/lumens should I be looking for? Most I have seen when looking on Amazon are LED's which is what I want to use.
Opinions on "halo" headlights or separate bumper mounted light?

I'm not much on the halos on older jeeps, so I would say bumper. But that is just me. I do usually run on the road / street with my headlights during the day. I'm interested on what others think.

Have thought about running my headlight relay on a hot on run wire or the oil pressure switch. That way I don't have to think about turning them on or more importantly off. :D

Yes you do need to turn them off. Seems like someone a little while back on here talked about installing a little buzzer maybe that buzzed when key off and lights on ? Kinda like an idiot light for low oil. :poke:

Maybe power your front turn lamps from a hot on run source? And just my two cents - I don't care much for HALO's on a CJ.

It's like coming home again!!! Via Tapatalk

Turn lamps just don't seem bright enough. I'm using LEDs all around and for some reason they just don't seem to be very bright.
