I have a Dyna 300 xfer case. The speedometer cable attachment is completely missing. There is a plastic plug in its place. Where do I get this part? I do not see it on any of the Jeep parts web sites.

I'm not 100% sure, but I seem to recall a couple different housings for the different speedo gears (kind of like a carrier break)...may want to check on that.

You have an '86 CJ7 , the speedometer housing is what Gert sent. I just replaced all the parts in my speedo housing. The hardest part is getting the tiny seal and spring inside. Also check the o-ring, the one I got with my "kit" I ordered was to big for assembly, easy fix, but you need that o-ring installed.

Once it's all together, you just need the right plastic speedometer gear for your specific configuration, (there's charts available online that will tell you what you need). After the assembly is together and installed, just bolt on the retainer.
