With the success of the Annual Colorado, Moab and upcoming Rubicon Trail rides I was curious if those of us relegated to the eastern areas or west coasters looking for new opportunities would want to start up an east coast ride to join in the fun https://www.jeep-cj.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif
I would think that staying similar to the other annual rides would be important, keeping trails tame enough for beginners and less built rigs. Without lots of options for open public land with trails most likely it would need to be held at an off road park or the few areas with trails. Could be done over a week or 2-4 day weekend...
Options:
Windrock Off Road Park (TN)
Black Mountain Off Road Park (Harlan KY)
Slade/Daniel Boone Back Country Byway (KY)
Uwharrie National Forest (NC)
Adventure Off Road Park (TN)
George Washington National Forest (VA)
Rausch Creek Off Road Park (PA)
So if you're interested what would people like to see? The above list is by no means what we would be Limited to so other ideas are welcomed. I've been to Windrock and Harlan quite a few times but mostly ran more built rigs there and stayed off the easier trails. I do know both have quite a bit of easier trail that would be fun to explore more.
