I’m installing my new booster and MC. On the existing MC, the smaller (1/2” ) port is at the rear and the larger (9/16”) is in front. However, on the new MC, they are swapped and the new MC has equal size reservoirs. There is enough play in existing brake lines for me to swap and make reach.

I have disks up front and drums in the back.

Can I just hook up and go?

Thanks all

I don't understand all I know about brakes, But I believe you need to keep the front in the front and back in back. You'll need to buy some adapters. Most any auto parts store should have them. I'm sure someone with a better explanation will soon chime in.

The circuit with the bigger port on the MC is for the front brakes. Adapt as necessary.

Thanks for input. I ended up matching the port sizes between the hard line and the MC. While I initially said that the reservoirs were the same size the front one was a little bit larger. Not by much but still larger. After bleeding the brakes my stopping power changed like night and day. I think my previous booster wasn’t working at all. The brakes are touchy. Just feathering the brakes as I coast down the driveway was noticeable.
