Picked up an Eddy S.P.2-P intake for a good price as a possible upgrade to the 2 bbl intake on my AMC 304 . The S.P.2-P intake has the small ports. Anyone have experience running one of these on their AMC 304 ? I'm just a little concerned about the small ports - they are half the size of the ports on the stock 2 bbl intake. I've built the AMC 304 to improve performance and don't want to add an intake wouldn't fit with my setup. I installed 1.94/1.5 valves, did some mild head porting/blending, decked the block to raise CR a little, installed a Howards 214/220* .525/.540" cam, and using full length headers into a 2 1/2" collector to single 3" exhaust system.

I could install the S.P.2-P as is, port the S.P.2-P to gasket match, or sell the S.P.2-P and get an Edelbrock Performer RPM Airgap. What say you? Appreciate your experiences and opinions.

So, no one has experience with the S.P.2-P intake? I'll figure something out and let you know the results.
