Evaporative Canister Delete?

Tampering with Emissions stuff is illegal. With that being said, is there any reason you can't remove the Evaporative Canister? What would you do with the four lines that are attached? Emission testing is not a concern.

I have the 6/AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .

Got to ask why? You still should have somewhere for the carb bowl vent and pcv vent to go. The charcoal keeps the gas stank down...

Those are the only two things that are still going into my charcoal canister, the other ports are plugged.

Because I have a fuel issue that I can't seem to find out the reason. See the post today about the fuel filter return line from the filter to to the tank.
