Exhaust front pipe 79 258?

The flange/flair at the top of my exhaust front pipe (manifold to cat) is shattered.
Quadratec says they don't carry the pipe and don't know anyone that manufacture one.
Its for a 79 with a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . Any ideas?

Nevermind: Got it sorted, found an old guy in Nogales that still bends his own exhaust pipes.

Glad you found someone to bend a pipe for you.

I don't know why the replacement head pipes skip the 79 - 82 CJ's...

I found that the bending pipe is not a problem, it's the flair at the top that shops have a problem with.
A ball peen hammer and a 2" trailer ball held in a vice with a little creative metal shaping got me through a couple of times. Be sure to anneal the flange after beating on it because it will be pretty brittle if you don't.

If you go for the 4.0 head swap it is really easy to find the pipes for the header.
