I have a dual collector header with exhaust running out both sides and cherry bombs with turnouts welded on them. I drove it 30 miles the other day and was deaf when I got home. I'm thinking of changing to turbo's. If my memory serves me correctly I'll get more of a deep rumble and a little quieter?

I had a single Cherry bomb on my 79 with a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and it just had a low growl.

They give sound clips for each type of muffler.
If your on the cheap look over craigslist for anyone ditching a set of new 05+ mustang GT mufflers you can pick up 2 for like $50. Hell I have 4 in the garage.
