All , a little help please .
My specs:
1976 CJ5
AMC 360
T-18 / Dana 20
Current exhaust manifold = headman in frame
Ordered patriot clippster
Existing set up will not allow slave cylinder to be installed. Will the patriots give me enough room or am I sending them back. I do not want to lose the flow the headers provide since the upper end of the engine is built up with performance parts.
Any advice?

OK no help here so I will keep post here when I develop a resolution. I will do a write up on my issue and the while shebang with the master cylinder install for the hydro clutch. Even the instructions on line are sketchy for installing this kit.
Thanks for those of you who did look at this post.

WHY do you even want 'hydro'?
BTW-With those headers, your under hood temps will go sky high.

Hood vents help ..... :)

LG well my original parts were toasted.i figured I would go with the hydro. Bought the hydro set up and now experiencing issues. I have yet to run this jeep for more than a few minutes. But my existing headers were already there. This is a fiberglass tilt clip so it has more air flow than a standard metal clip. If I need to I can vent it. But I already have some things I was planning like wrapping the headers and installing 2 fans.

Mechanical clutch linkage may well serve you better/longer. ;)

That's an awefull lot of new parts I gotta return. Your trying to help too much with this sickness. I'm getting new headers and hydro set up.

I have the same setup on mine, and I know what issues you are having, I lifted my slave up about 1" by using the next bolt hole up on the bell housing, I then lifted the clutch fork connection piece up by the same amount by welding on an adaptor. Was unsure if it would work or last but it has so far (4 years later). Will send photos later on
