Hi, I'm replacing the water pump on my 77 CJ6 cyl tomorrow. Anybody have tips on removing the fan bolts? Are they reverse threaded or anything fun like that? I tried to get two box wrenches in there- one to hold the fan while turning a bolt but it was not working very well.

Thanks for your advice!

If you pull the radiator it will be a lot easier, if you have not already.

you may find it easier to remove the radiator first that way you have a little room to work also keep you from busting a hole in the radiator with a wrench fan or even the pump that way there's no reason to :censored: when you bust a hole cause you didn't listen :D :chug:
I see Iport beat me to this post

Thanks guys, I should have pulled the radiator, that would have been easier. You're right the bolts are lefty loosey, righty tighty. The pump is in and no more leaks. I appreciate your help!
