Fan question

Hi, I'm replacing the water pump on my 77 CJ6 cyl tomorrow. Anybody have tips on removing the fan bolts? Are they reverse threaded or anything fun like that? I tried to get two box wrenches in there- one to hold the fan while turning a bolt but it was not working very well.

Should be the normal Lefty Loosy, Righty Tighty bolts.

If you pull the radiator it will be a lot easier, if you have not already.

you may find it easier to remove the radiator first that way you have a little room to work also keep you from busting a hole in the radiator with a wrench fan or even the pump that way there's no reason to when you bust a hole cause you didn't listen

Thanks guys, I should have pulled the radiator, that would have been easier. You're right the bolts are lefty loosey, righty tighty. The pump is in and no more leaks. I appreciate your help!
