Members CJs Finally! my '81 Scrambler

After owning over 17 Jeeps throughout the years I finally have my dream Jeep. I picked it up last weekend. Guy took it apart to restore and never touched it again. Took me two trucks and two trailers to get it all home! The pics below are of how it looked when I got to his house and then after a full weekend of bolting things together. Full restoration to start late Summer after I get moved to my new house and get settled in. I sold the '76CJ7 I completed a frame off on last Summer. Currently I am going through the boxes and boxes and boxes of parts that came with it to see what all I have. Also bolting some things back on to make it easier to transport.
1981 CJ8 - originally an I6 auto, now a AMC 304 auto. I loved the AMC 304 in the CJ7 so I am happy the Scrambler has it. Aside from the rust that was cut out on both sides under the "Jeep" and one small spot on the driver's rear fender lip, the body is in fantastic shape. The bed floor is near perfect.
