fixed fan VS electric

i have a 2.5 iron duke with a fixed flex fan on it. i read a comment on another thread about trail rigs having fixed fans. i run alot of highway miles with my jeep and wondering if a clutched fan or electric fan would be better for my jeep. it has a brand new radiator in it. no shroud. it could sure use a boost in power. im not sure how much a fixed fan eats

I would say clutch fan for highway use, since the clutch should release at freeway speed.

I personally run the clutch still, but was seriously considering the contour or taurus fan mods.

ok cool. i think i will go with an electric fan on mine then. i will just get the whole kit from the parts store i work at
