Floor liner/carpet

<div class="bbWrapper">Has anyone used a floor liner like this one?<br /> <a href="http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-carpets/acc-vinyl-flooring-cj5.htm" target="_blank" class="link link--external" data-proxy-href="/community/proxy.php?link=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jeep4x4center.com%2Fjeep-carpets%2Facc-vinyl-flooring-cj5.htm&amp;hash=f880cebd79cefb811b590b39fca9a6b9" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">ACC Molded Vinyl Flooring Kits - Cut Pile CJ5</a><br /> I want to do something to clean up the interior of my jeep, and have been tossing around the idea of bedlinering it, but that seems a very permanent thing to do, and I&#039;m not sure I&#039;ll like it. I found these liners and thought it might be a good solution, but I didn&#039;t know if anyone else had tried them, if they had cause rust issues by trapping water or anything, etc.<br /> I&#039;ve also found some carpet sets, but I&#039;m extremely iffy on that, since carpet in a jeep seems like a bad idea to me. Anyone have any experience with any of these things?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Bedliner is a way better idea than a vinyl floor cover. I can tell you from experience form my truck. Yes it will trap moister and it will rust the floor out faster, and carpet is probably the worst idea <img src="/community/smilies/beerchug.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":chug:" title="Chug :chug:" data-shortname=":chug:" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">X10 on the bedliner. My bronco had the factory vinyl floor and rusted thru the floorpans from the inside. It&#039;s also a PITA to install unless it&#039;s a 90 degree day. Quality bedliner is about the same price and will last forever. It also helps quiet things inside. <br /> <br /> The monstaliner looks like the cat&#039;s pajamas...</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I&#039;ve given a lot of thought to the bed liner, but I&#039;m not sure I can do it without screwing it up, and the local bedliner place wants big $ to do a spray in. I may just have to try a herculiner or monstaliner though. <br /> Now if only I could find a heated garage to do some work in, I&#039;d be golden <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f61b.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":P" title="Stick out tongue :P" data-smilie="7"data-shortname=":P" /></div>

If I remember correctly I only bought the 1 gallon kit and when I was done I did not feel that it was thick enough but it is still better than vinyl <img src="/community/smilies/beerchug.gif" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":chug:" title="Chug :chug:" data-shortname=":chug:" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I did my entire 80 CJ5 in monstaliner, bumpers, fiberglass tub, frame inside and out. Turned out great. Been over a year and I can&#039;t say enough about it. It made it quieter, warmer in the winter and I spray it out with a power washer. If you go the monstaliner route, take your time wait for mild days and clean everything.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">we have used the herculiner on several jeeps and love it.It has small rubber chunks in it that makes a surface to keep parts or our 150 pound lab from sliding around.The last one was a jeep we had built for my wife and she did the entire thing by herself.A 1 gallon kit will do 2 heavy coats on the entire bed with plenty left over for any touch ups..</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Do you spray the monstaliner in or roll it? Has anyone heard or tried &quot;Lizzard Skin&quot;? I seen it on one of the truck shows on Sunday morning T.V. <br /> They had two different types, one was a ceramic coating for rust-proofing and one was more of a urethane based (so it appears) like what this monstaliner is. Lizzard Skin is sprayed on using a actual spray gun that comes in the kit.<br /> <br /> Just curious if anyone esle has tried this. I plan to do something to mine this spring.</div>
