Wow. Living in Texas my entire life, public land has not been readily available. I spent the summer of 2000 in Meeker, CO. The access to miles and miles of streams and back roads was quite the adventure and kinda made me not as mad to pay all the taxes! I'm glad that this group of folks stood up and was willing to actually do the work themselves to get the road back open.
I have always considered myself a naturalist and outdoorsman. This kind of peaceful stand makes me glad that it went through. Thanks for sharing this video.

This is a good example of our goverment just taking things that belong to the public, that is why its called public lands and us the public needs to stand up to them and show them we will not let them just push us around.
