At least we figured out it was a Chevrolet.

Hey there are people that would pay 1000s of $$ for that...Bring it home and Ebay it!

Might have a little problem with the NPS. It's sitting out in the desert by the old Mariscal Mine in Big Bend NP.
Probably not the same vehicle, but there's some old photo's of the mine owner in a 'touring car' at the park visitor center. Seems the old boy lived in Marathon and commuted to the mine in it. It's 90 some miles from Marathon to the park boundary, and probably another 50 by road to the mine. Them old boys and their vehicles had to be tough.
We did the road to the mine in the CJ, and it was so rough the screws in the taillights came loose.

Back before the government wasted our tax money on those fancy schmancy paved roads.

I think those fenders would look sweet on a Jeep! :D

I've seen Rat Rods at shows with worse bodies than that.

Rod it and call it good! :D

I could totally fix it.
About to start a 50's chevy truck rat rod project.

COOL. I currently have a '49 5-window Chevy in the garage that is one of my toys. Another guy in our off road club is currently building a '53 GMC 3 window PU based on a S10 Frame with airbag suspension. He is going more rat than mine would ever be.
