Anyone run this tranny before? I know its similar to the T-18 . Might have a chance to pick one up pretty cheap.

It's a good tranny, just don't expect to win any drag races with it. 1rst gear isn't syncronized for the down shift, so you have to stop to shift into 1rst. It is heavy, but it is also hard to break. Just make sure you are getting the Ford version and not the Dodge.

Its still sitting in the F-250 along with the divorced np205.

Never got it, it's probably still in the truck.

Kind of hard to justify it when I have a FSJ wide ratio T-18 in the garage.

Busy. Unfortunately this time of year has the hospital running ragged.

Did you get your engine fixed?

Still working on it. Cleaned the head, got new gaskets and have new rings to put in this next weekend. Getting ready to start building a replacement engine and head while I drive this one. How is your CJ doing?

With buying a house and all I have not been able to do anythig with it. I think I broke the tranny mount in it on our last outting.

Good weather is coming, gonna need to have the rigs ready for some more fun. Putting a new 1 piece rubber seal on the oil pan, that 3 piece cork garbage is not cutting it. New lube locker gasket for the Dana 30 and a new shifter hander to replace the broken one. All new fluids and a tune-up and she should be good to go for awhile, hopefully. My left front spring plate snapped in half so having to replace that also. Pulled the hi-lift jack off the front and found it doesnt work but I happened to have a spare in the garage and my fuel and oil pressure gauges are still wacky so I have to look at that also.
