Information varies widely. 35-42ftlbs is all you want to go, remember, the bell is aluminum.

cool thanks.. i got the T-18 in now just gotta torque it down and install Dana 300 . i have the novak adapter plate and there are numerous mounting holes on it. which holes do i align Dana 300 too?

ok got the Dana 300 lined up. now on to the next issue. The Crossmember/skidplate does not line up with novak adapter mount. is ther some adapter or spacer needed. or has anyone modded the current plate to fit

you have to modify new holes in the crossmemberr....and you will also need to notch the front of the crossmember to allow the T-18 to sit properly...its a big tranny and needs the xmember clearanced a bit.

 Dang it! Thanks for reminding me... I nearly threw out the stock skid plate from my T-18 donor truck since I already have a few of that style X-member...I need to check and see what the difference is before I let it go... :chug:
