Anyone have a place to start looking. They rear blinkers work w/ Headlites off or on but the front do not blink when the headlites are on.

I would pull the connector from the turn signal and see if I had a voltage to ground with the signal on. this would tell you that it had something to do with the grounding of the circuit. and clean the connectors on all the lights and apply a bit of dielectric grease.

might have a short in the headlight switch :( Welcome aboard..I am from Memphis

I ran into a simualr problem with my lights, i'd check the conections on the light switch. mine went bad and i had to bypass the terminal.

Thanks, Sorry for the delay in responding. Had another project come up. These are brand new front parking/turn signals. I will try the grease first or maybe dig the old ones out of the parts bins and see it they work properly.

The front turn/marker lights ground through the light housing to the grill. Did you do any touch up painting? I always use some star washers between the housing and grill to help ensure there is a good ground, I have run into the same issue many times over the years and 9 outa 10 just cleaning and making sure they housing has good ground to grill takes care of it.

Tried the washers. They now blink very dimly, have to look hard to see the element blinking thru the lense. What # bulb shoud be in there?

Did you have problem with the front and rear not blinking. My rears are working my fronts barly blink.

I've always had front give me issues and rears worked just fine, the bulb should be 1157NA which is a amber dual filament bulb one for the marker light and one for the blinker and they have to be in correctly, they can be put in 180 degrees off (with a little persuasion) which will create it being dim if I recall.

Just came across a different issue than I have in the past on mine so maybe it will help some one. Just got back from Iraq and my right front turn signal was acting up, no marker light but the turn would work. did my usual star washer, no luck. Started dome trouble shooting the socket was losing ground to the rest of the light assembly. so I just took about a 6 inch piece of wire stripped half of it wrapped it around the outside of the socket and soldered it to itself, couldn't get it to solder to the socket, but it stayed on. put a eyelet wire terminal on the other end and then screwed it in between the grill and light assembly. Worked like a charm.
