Fuel Economy difference between 304 and 360

With very little work, a AMC 304 will wake up. The restriction they have is breathing. I sand dragged a AMC 304 for years.

Lunati cam, ported, Torquer II intake and other go fast goodies. It would scare you! AMC's need to breath! Gulp the air in...

CJ, what did you do to make it breathe better? I am thinking it was some extensive head work.

A good dual plane intake for low intake grunt, a good RV cam and your good to go. AMC's are / were very restrictive on the intake side from the factory. Don't waste your time on porting. I flowed all my heads for my racing - it's not worth it for street use.
