Fuel Filler Vent Hose Diameter

The fuel filler vent hose is missing from my jeep. When the gas tank is anywhere near full, gas spills out of the vent. Obviously not ideal.

What size should that hose be?

And how does it attach to the fittings on the tank and the filler hose?

I've never seen specs for it, and the diagrams are not very helpful.
