Ive noticed that my fuel filter is leaking and not even the correct one for my jeep. I also dont have a returning line from the fuel filter back to the fuel tank to eliminate vapor lock. My question is where do i run the hose back to? Also should i just zip tie it onto the metal line that runs from the tank up to the front unit? Or is there a certain way it needs to go. Thanks in advance. Probably a very simple question :)
Last thing, does it need to be vertical or horizontal? Or does it not matter?

On mine, there are 2 metal lines that come from the tank and end along the frame, just before the front driver's tire. From there, I have rubber lines connected with stainless hose clamps. One of these is the return line connected to the fuel filter. The return line on the filter should be on top of the other port that goes to the carb. If you don't have a service manual, you might want to take a look at this: Jeep Informational Center at Morris 4x4 Center

you have a Weber carb??
if so you don't need it.
