Fuel Guage

I recently was cutting away the panel around the radio to instal a new stereo and the vibration broke the oil pressure needle since it was so brittle. It also made the needle on the fuel gauge stay at E. It doesn't look like it broke the needle but it definitely does not work now. Does anyone have any ideas?

Possibly a loose connection, look up John Strenks CJ gauge diagnostics page. It is about the best info out there about that topic.
