Fuel injection conversion

Hi I was wondering about a tbi on an iron duke is there a junkyard solution or the cheapest route?

:)Crawler, Solution Yes..............Cheap .....HUM!

There is a ton of info out there on the market..........Mega squirt comes to mind when you talk about Junk Yard solutions, but these Junkyard TBI's on GM products have become quite popular and it has at least in my area next to impossible to find them anymore. Pro Jection, MSD, and a host of others are available...........start looking at all these Fuel Injection Forums and see if someone else has done the switch to a 4 cylinder as you would like to do.

Crawler Joe, if you want it street legal in Ca., it might require a visit to the smog referee or the C.A.R.B. guys to get the emmissions requirements.

I put a Holley 1D FI Projection kit on. Love it!

I got it used on eBay for $500. Holley still sells spare parts as well.

Uses new water temp, O2 sensor and a tach connection.

Fully programmable without a computer connected to the ECM. An air-fuel ratio meter really helps dial it in.

Hey 73CJ...

How did you mount the fuel pump?

I'm putting on a 2D this weekend. I have the wiring harness done but dont have a point on the frame lower than the 20 gallon poly tank. Did you mount your pump below the tank?

I just posted a new thread about it, and then discovered this post..

thanks
brian
