You need to be aware of the different latching mechanism. The late CJ and YJ used the post strikers. The TJs use a loop thing. You can change the striker on the body of the CJ to allow for the newer doors. I use YJ doors on mine.

I have a CJ top and doors on my YJ body... I think Dain's right, TJ is different.

I now only have YJ half doors in my CJ tub. But I use TJ soft uppers to fit in my hard top.

Yes, I have '83 frame, fenders, dash and drive train, with a '95 tub...
